Badges & Lozenges

Badges contain numeric values and indicate a running tally, such as the number of messages or notifications. Badges are normally placed before or after the label of the thing they're quantifying and contain only numbers or a "+" sign to indicate a quantity greater than the displayed number. Lozenges are used to highlight an item's status for quick recognition or to give additional fast short information such as additional price or time.

DEFAULT STATUS

Default state for total number of notifications.

UNREAD NOTIFICATION

New messages, unread notifications and unactioned requests.

ALERT

Unread or unactioned notification that requires immediate attention.

NEW ADDITION

An addition of a new feature or thing of interest.

REMOVED

Removal of a item in a list.

SUCCESS

Use to celebrate a success.

Available, done, approved, resolved, added, booked.

PENDING

For items that are in progress or that are current.

In progress, open, modified, booking pending.

FAILURE

Indicates items that are problematic or removed.

Errors, declined, failed, removed, critical, not booked.

Time

Indicates the start time of an activity.

PREMIUM ACTIVITY

For activities that are premium or add-on services that require an additional purchase.

CLASS FULL

Indicates that the class or session is at capacity.

CLASS CANCELLED

Indicates that the class or session has been cancelled.

TAG

This element is used to tag activites or venues with a list of descriptors for what is offered.
